The legality of content in the case of hosting is a somewhat complicated issue. According to the law, the platform service provider provides space for users to share content. This means that it is on the side of the user to dispose of the copyright to, which he or she uploads within a given service. With VOD, on the other hand, it is the service provider that uploads content for which it holds licenses for use within the video-on-demand service. Most often, premiere sports events or movies are transmitted in this way. If illegal content is found on such portals, the service is obliged to remove it as soon as it receives a notification.

On behalf of copyright holders, we make appropriate notifications to the platform service provider. If the content on his portal is illegal, we call for its removal, and as a result of failure to take the necessary action on the part of the service provider – we take the matter to court.
